the way i view summer life | berks county pa photographer

It’s already August! How’s your summer going? Mine seems to be FLYING by!  It’s time for the CMPro‘s blog circle and our theme for July was summer fun. I love summer! It is my favorite time of the year. This summer has been particularly busy (or at least it has felt that way) because I have a baby crawling around. Today I’m sharing some of my summer fun perspective–my personal snapshots of my kids doing what they love most and what we do most these days. I’ll say it’s not easy chasing a crawling baby, keeping her safe, and having a camera in hand. I realized going through my images that I need to pull the camera out more often when my other half is around so he can do the keeping-baby-safe stuff and I can relax behind the camera.

See the sticker? She was not letting go of it! Her big brother doesn’t show up in many, mostly because he was not in the mood for the camera on this particular day :/
We knew that the sandbox would be a great investment for Micah when we got it last year, but I never imagined how much time we would be spending in it and it is by far my kids favorite place to play in.

She loves playing in the sandbox with her big brother’s trucks and other toys…and tossing sand…and taking a little dive into the sand to taste it…and getting close to her brother…except he doesn’t always enjoy his little sister messing up his road system. This was one of those days.He has an incredible imagination and is very passionate about all kinds of trucks.There’s the sticker againShe is blessed to have a big brother who lets her play with his trucks. For now, dolls aren’t a cool thing in her life. Now a truck? She’ll play with a truck and even make the “vrooom” sound effects.And a little hopscotch is always a fun summer activity!I hope you are having a blast and doing all the fun things summer has to offer.  I am
