Confession: I just had to look at my own blog to figure out when I last shared with my readers. I almost don’t want to admit it’s been so long, but moving on!
This little guy was such a dream baby to photograph. He was teeny small when I met him and could not believe the change in him just two weeks later when I went to visit for his gallery reveal. Days do make a big difference in the newborn stage when it comes to having portraits done. I always recommend reserving a session prior to birth to guarantee having your baby photographed within the first two weeks after birth.
Mr. A comes with a handsome and very active big brother. Photographing them together happened very quickly yet we got the results mom wanted (with the help of grandma and a cookie bribe). Working with toddlers, I understand the short attention span that comes with their short age so I always do my best to respect that while stretching their focus long enough to capture a sweet moment between siblings. It won’t be long before the two are best friends.
During the individual portion of the session, I had a lovely time getting to know A’s mother as well as his grandmother. I love the opportunity that my business gives me to meet interesting families living in my community. We spent time talking kids, healthy foods, and my family’s homeschooling lifestyle. Getting to photograph a sweet newborn while having good conversations is a win for sure!
