How did I go so long without sharing this session? Absolutely one of my favorites from this past summer.

Words seem to fail me when trying to express how grateful I am for clients who trust me again and again with documenting snippets of their lives.

I wish the butterflies would stop fluttering in my stomach when I arrive and reconnect with past clients. It’s almost as if the pressure (mostly self-imposed) increases with each new session. The pressure comes from a desire to outdo my previous work and give clients my best.

My best should keep getting better, right?

Isn’t that what we do in relationships? We keep giving our best, never becoming complacent and comfortable with yesterday’s best. We seek today’s best, building on yesterday’s experiences.

I’m thankful for clients like this family who are loyal and will drive a distance because they appreciate my work.

I appreciate them even more!
