Last month I had the privilege of photographing an extended family filled with so much love and care for one another. It was a true reminder to myself that sometimes nothing matters except the people in the photographs. We took a couple of hours on a beautiful evening to tune out the noise of daily life and create images that this family will treasure for many, many years. I had a blast playing with the kids, making the adults laugh, watching them love each other. I walked away from the session exhausted (always a good thing), but with a new sense of appreciation for what I do. I absolutely love working with families and being able to take part in the time that they are creating these memories. I never take for granted the honor of being allowed into a family’s space to capture their tightly knit bond.

All because these two people fell in love and have kept that love alive…

Having a strong relationship with your mother and being able to call her your best friend…yeah, pretty special.These cousins love each other like siblings. They are so blessed to have each other.
